Membership
What ever type of vehicle you own or if your looking at buying one, from a rally truck to a club truck or a shiny truck we want you in our club. Membership for a year cost's a mere $60.00 for you and your family (family membership is you , your partner and your children under 18 years of age)
What does the $60.00 get you? You get to participate in the many activities and runs that the club has through out the year. And a monthly club news letter.
With club membership you also become an Affiliated member of the NZ four wheel drive association , getting annual trail torque newsletters.
Runs range from:
- Shiny vehicle family orientated runs, which are usually farm tracks and unsealed gravel roads taking in scenery and interesting places, picnic spots etc.
- Club truck runs where some panel damage is possible and minor scratching which can be harder tracks and terrain to club championship competitions.
- Hard yakka runs which require well equipped vehicles with good mud tyres and winches roll cages etc and where panel damage and serious paint scratching are a certainty.
- Fully caged home built and competition vehicles, which can participate in run's suitable to them and where they meet the necessary criteria for that run.
The club meeting's are held on the third Tuesday of the month upstairs at the Taradale R.S.A ,starting at 7.30 pm. Prospective members are asked to attend a meeting and participate in up to three run's before being considered for club membership and voted in as a member.
We can provide training days where you can learn proper driving and recovery techniques with safe practices being endorsed.Through to how your vehicle works and the safe mounting of recovery hooks ,winches and bullbars etc.
